The St. Johns Columbians was organized December 2nd, 1968 and in November 13th, 1969 land was acquired at the hall’s present location at 1108 North US 27. Construction of the hall began in earnest and the first meeting in the new hall was held May 5th, 1970. Since that time three additions and numerous renovations have been made to the building. It is open to the public to rent for private events such as Anniversary Parties, Birthday Parties, Business meetings, Celebrations of Life, Class Reunions, Fundraisers, Weddings, and other community events.
